An AI Workforce for a Swindon Small Business: What Each Agent Does

"Workforce" sounds grand. In practice it means a handful of agents, each given one desk job.

An AI workforce, in Dean Keating's words, is a set of AI agents installed for you, each taking one of the desk jobs in your business. He builds and installs them remotely from Horndean, Hampshire, for businesses in Wiltshire and across the UK. Free first call: 07418 627304.

Where the phrase comes from

Dean Keating's website, ai-agent.deankeating.com, puts it this way: "I'll build you an AI workforce ... installed for you, not handed over." The idea is simple. Instead of one tool that tries to do everything, you have several agents, and each one is responsible for a single kind of work.

The desk jobs

Taken from his website, the jobs an agent can take include:

- replying to new enquiries within minutes, day or night
- following up every lead until they book or say no
- sending quotes and chasing the unanswered ones
- booking jobs into the diary
- answering common questions across email, web and WhatsApp
- sorting and routing messages
- sending updates, confirmations and reminders
- escalating to a person
- raising invoices and chasing late payments
- copying details between systems
- producing the weekly report

You would not need all of them. Most businesses need two or three.

A high-street trader

The directory's area pages describe the high streets of Highworth, Royal Wootton Bassett and Wroughton, with butchers, bakers, hairdressers and pubs. Take a trader on one of them who runs the business, serves customers and also does the books. Their desk jobs are the evening ones: the unanswered messages from the day, the order to confirm, the invoice that is overdue. Each of those could be one agent's job, and the owner would see a short summary rather than a full inbox.

What it does not mean

It does not mean a robot running your business. Agents take repeat tasks and pass the rest to you. Nothing here suggests replacing your staff or a particular saving, and he gives no figures for either. Judgement, relationships and anything unusual stay with people.

How it is built

Four stages: a free call, an audit of the work worth automating, the build and install, then training and support. He starts with the single task that makes the most difference and adds from there. You leave the free call with a plan you can use with or without him.

Cost and distance

There is no published price list; the cost is given after the free call, with no obligation. His website says it is not a course, not phone answering and not a chatbot product. He is based in Horndean, Hampshire, and installs remotely anywhere in the UK, with in-person visits possible in Hampshire or nearby. If you want someone in the room, say so early and compare other providers.

About this guide

Swindon.co is published by Dean Keating, who also runs the service described here. He is based in Horndean, Hampshire, not in Swindon, and works with Swindon and Wiltshire businesses remotely. If you want someone in the room, say so on the first call and look at Swindon-based providers too. This guide recommends our own service, so compare it with other providers before you decide.
